Parkwood Montessori Academy
Parkwood Montessori Academy is a premier Montessori School located in West Plano, Texas close to the intersection of Dallas Tollway and Windhaven Parkway. It is easily accessible from Plano, North Dallas and Frisco.
Lakeside Montessori Academy
Lakeside Montessori Academy is a premier Montessori School located in The Colony, Texas on the shores of Lake Lewisville close to the intersection of Highway 121 and North Josey Lane. It is easily accessible from The Colony, Lewisville, Carrollton and Frisco.
Both Parkwood Montessori Academy and Lakeside Montessori Academy are staffed with highly qualified Montessori Certified Teachers with a low student to teacher ratio. Each school uses a holistic approach to education providing individualized lessons and a comprehensive curriculum. This approach allows a unique experience for the child’s curious and absorbent mind. Each Montessori school’s effort to help children reach their full potential is well recognized and appreciated by parents.
As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and at each school, it is firmly believed that a child can reach their full potential with the cooperation of parents and teachers. It is encouraged that the parents participate and volunteer their time for stories, classroom celebrations, school events and family and cultural heritage. This participation in partnership with the staff helps the children develop a healthy respect and relationship with each other as well as individual differences. The education and self confidence of the children provided by Parkwood Montessori Academy and Lakeside Montessori Academy is a priceless character trait and is an important predictor of success later in life.
