We have developed this program to give your child a solid foundation of knowledge that will aid in an effortless transition into elementary education.
The classroom environment has all the necessary resources and is conducive to the children’s self development. This enables them to learn at their own pace without rigid structure and undue pressure to conform.
Our classrooms are spacious and the environment is warm and conducive to learning. Since your child learns and absorbs information from many sources, it is the role of the teacher to prepare and help to adapt the environment. Additionally, it helps to link the child through well thought out lessons and facilitation of the child’s exploration and creativity.
The study materials are derived from proven and well renowned Montessori principles and curriculum. Reading, Writing and Mathematics at this grade level are introduced and the children are nurtured to learn and absorb as much material as they can in an environment that is healthy and helpful for learning. This approach fosters self-confidence and a willingness to try and learn new things.
The environment is arranged according to the subject area, children are always free to move around the classroom, and continue to work on a piece of material with no time limit or pressure.
The steps of learning of any concept are systematically offered to the child based on their individual development.
Your child is always learning something while at the Academy that is indirectly preparing him to learn and explore new material, making education a joyful discovery instead of drudgery. This approach to educating your child fosters self-confidence and willingness to try and learn new things.
Our certified Montessori teachers are trained to teach Mathematics, Language, the Arts and Sciences, one child at a time, where he or she is a part of a small group.
Rarely any lessons are given to a class as a whole. Most important of all, is guiding a child’s discovery and exploration while capitalizing on their interests and excitement.
